We gave the nation the best personalised Christmas gift on the shelves.
To introduce The Book of Everyone’s Christmas book to press and bloggers with the intention of them reviewing the book themselves and including it in their Christmas gift guides. Maximum coverage needed to be achieved in the run up to Christmas.
The Book of Everyone’s objectives were to raise awareness of the Christmas book, increase online blog reviews and ultimately drive sales. Our challenge was to position it as the perfect, personalised gift and to make it stand out from the competition.
Over the Christmas period we liaised with journalists from a wide variety of publications and TV as well as active bloggers across the UK. We created personalised books for them in time to review before Christmas enabling the book to be included in their Christmas Gift Guides both in print and online.
Once press were familiar with the brand, we arranged one to one media meetings in London to showcase the book to journalists to show how personal the content was – making it the perfect gift!
On the back of our strategy we secured national PR coverage including; This Morning, The Sunday Express, S Magazine (Sunday Express), Notebook (Sunday Mirror), Mother and Baby, Instyle, Reveal and a personal tweet from Phillip Schofield. The Book of Everyone’s Christmas book was included in over 30 blog reviews, which was a fantastic way to get the book onto people’s Christmas list. The PR efforts lead to an 800% increase in traffic to the client’s website and their best ever sales for a Christmas period.
