Managing Director + Founder

An award winning PR professional with 20 years’ experience in her field, Sunny is known for her entrepreneurial flair and passion for creativity, which her team and clients appreciate and respect. Understanding clients' wants and needs allows her to build brand strategies that deliver tangible business results.  Sunny is driven and energetic with bundles of enthusiasm and brings her expertise to each and every account that comes through the Sunny Bird PR doors.  Sunny shows as much interest in the success of her client’s business as they do. It is this hands-on, results-driven approach that has helped her gain and maintain an extensive portfolio of clients, regionally, nationally and internationally. She values hard work, loyalty, integrity and above all else a sense of humour. 


Louise

Strategy Director

Louise specialises in marketing, PR and Social Media. With 18 years industry experience in a number of sectors including; B2B, Government, FMCG, Tech and Entrepreneurialism, Louise creates and implements award-winning, multi-channel campaigns for brands whilst managing a team that is set on delivering strong results. Currently working with a variety of clients, offering integrated digital campaigns and managing online communities. Louise loves a full-bodied wine, a big bouncy blow dry and maximum PR results to match.

Lucinda Lane

Communications Associate

Lucinda’s background is in content marketing and she brings bags of experience creating and activating complex content marketing projects from major retailers to small challenger brands. Her specialities lie in food & drink, retail and health & wellness. Her key strengths fuse strong strategic oversight, editorial integrity with adept project management skills and she loves nothing better than getting stuck into on-boarding new clients. In lockdown she retrained as a social media strategist and now specialises in helping brands creating stronger audience connections in helping them to achieve their business goals on social. A keen am-dram enthusiast, Lucinda loves yoga, cooking, dogs and the occasional Dirty Martini.

Communications Associate

Kat joins the Sunny Bird PR team with over 20 years’ experience in industry since qualifying with a BA (Hons) in Journalism. She also holds a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. In her career she has used her marketing and communications expertise to raise millions for charities (local, regional and national), run hundreds of events, develop social media and communication strategies to help reach millions of potential customers and always brings a unique approach to any challenge. Kat has a keen eye for detail and enjoys being solution and results focused. Her experience across marketing, PR, communication, fundraising and sales means she brings a lot of different experiences to the team. Kat loves a giggle, always brings with her a can-do and positive attitude and most of all loves helping people and making a difference.


Natalie

Freelance Journalist/Media Consultant

Natalie is one of our most trusted media experts and ‘sounding boards’ who is able to provide valuable journalistic insight when it comes to the media. With a wealth of national journalism experience, Natalie specialises in subjects including parenting, family, health, food and relationships. Natalie writes for a plethora of publications including Mail Online, The Sun, The Mirror and numerous other female glossy titles. She is also editor of FQ Magazine, the essential online magazine for dads. She is a regular contributor to The Grocer magazine, one of the UK’s leading trade publications, writing in-depth analysis and features across all aspects of the grocery industry. Natalie also runs a successful blog and has appeared live on ITV's This Morning for topical debates.


STEPH

Freelance Journalist/Media Consultant

Steph is one of our ‘sounding boards’ and most trusted media experts. She offers Sunny Bird PR a no nonsense approach when it comes to what press want from PR’s and brands in order to feature them. Steph cut her journalistic teeth writing for the Femail section of the Daily Mail where she specialised in human interest features, went undercover at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant and wrote investigative pieces on the trade in human hair for hair extensions and the rise in street begging. She then worked as Deputy Features Editor at Woman & Home magazine before forging a highly successful career as a freelance writer. Steph has written for Red, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Glamour, Essentials, Woman’s Own, Now, Closer, and many more national titles. Her strengths include strong contacts among the commissioning editors in the industry and sourcing tricky case-studies to the tightest of deadlines.  Steph loves bringing strong stories into the public eye, especially those which inspire and motivate. She is also a successful children’s author who has written over thirty titles.

Senior Account Executive

Grace joined the Sunny Bird PR team after an established career in the luxury beauty industry. Travelling internationally, she represented world-renowned cosmetic retailer, SpaceNK in different capacities. From representing Stella McCartney at Paris Fashion Week, to curating a national training programme and liaising with high profile influencers at press at events and meet ups, Grace’s creativity and positivity lends itself perfectly to the world of PR as well as her acute attention to detail.

In her spare time, Grace enjoys spending time with friends and family (including the family dogs, Walter and Nancy!), holding parties to show off her hosting skills, eating out and getting stuck into a good film.

Our lead creative and MD of our sister agency Magicbox Media, Ant has over 20 years’ experience in branding, design and marketing communications. Ant & his team have a wide ranging client list, providing creative design, branding, animation & motion graphics to brands including Red Bull, Madame Tussauds and Sea Life Centres worldwide. After many years working collaboratively with SBPR, Ant & his team decided it was time to make things more formal and moved in, creating a marvellous marriage of marketing misfits! Now together working as one, we love nothing more than helping new businesses come to life or breathing fresh creative air into brands that need an extra push.

In 2015, a team that Steve was a part of won the E-commerce Website of the Year Award for their work for Kelly Hoppen. Steve prides himself on delivering value and exceptional results for clients of all sizes. With a focus on website development, Steve and his team are driven by bringing great ideas to life and working with great people.

With his positive can-do attitude, Louis is an asset to the team when it comes to making newcomers feel welcome. Louis has a wealth of experience in fetching and thrives on being the centre of attention. Always ready for any (treat-rewarded) challenge, Louis is the dog for the job.
