THE BRIEF

The SBPR team teamed up with Successful Women in Business to raise awareness and encourage attendees for the 2020 Successful Women Annual Conference and promote the launch of the 2020 Successful Women Awards.

THE CHALLENGE

The team were challenged with securing press coverage in regional titles with only two weeks to go until the event, highlighting the Successful Women Annual Conference as a leading female-focused business event and encouraging people to purchase tickets.

THE SOLUTION

The team sourced information regarding the event and profiles of the key speakers from the organisers in order to compile the pre-event press release. Once we had written the press release, we pitched it to our journalist contacts at regional consumer and business publications in the areas surrounding the event in Dorset/Somerset to secure coverage.

Following the event, SBPR compiled and pitched out a post-event press release announcing the success of the event, the number of attendees, highlights of the day, as well as details on the launch of the 2020 Successful Women Awards and how people can apply.

The SBPR team attended the event on the day and met with the key speakers, which included our Founder, Sunny Bird, who spoke about her own business journey and provided tips for the audience to implement in their own businesses.

THE OUTCOME

In total the Sunny Bird PR team secured 12 pieces of regional coverage which appeared in titles including the Dorset Echo, Bournemouth Echo, The Business, Dorset Biz News, Business in Dorset, Bridport & Lyme Regis News, and Business Matters. The coverage we achieved reached a total of 152,000 people!
